The Cool Company, Inc. is a Southern California-based construction management and operations company, headquartered in Escondido, California.
Our mission is to serve as a dedicated management layer between construction company leadership, general contractors, field workers, vendors, and project stakeholders. By approaching projects in a practical, field-aware, and systems-driven way, our clients maintain efficient oversight of their projects while outsourcing the burden of project management.
That creates more time for what leadership does best: maintaining industry relationships, acquiring clients, and driving long-term strategic growth.
Olena Saplina brings more than six years of professional experience spanning commercial project coordination, corporate operations, business administration, marketing, and client relations. Her background includes hands-on operational experience supporting a commercial mechanical contracting company in Escondido, California — coordinating between executive leadership, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, field teams, and clients.
Before entering construction, Ms. Saplina worked as a business development and marketing consultant.
Her strength lies in connecting people, information, and priorities while keeping projects organized and communication clear. As Founder and CEO, she oversees client relationships, workflow standards, proprietary software development, and overall service quality. Her multilingual ability in English, Ukrainian, and Russian supports communication with the diverse field teams common on Southern California jobsites.
Our work requires field knowledge, construction workflow experience, and jobsite awareness — not generic back-office administration. Our people understand how projects actually run.
Proprietary workflow and management systems — including our Control Center platform — support client communication, project tracking, scheduling, payroll coordination, and field reporting.
We work through long-term management agreements, not one-time consulting. We align our workflows to each client's business and grow with them as their project volume grows.
Commercial construction runs on trust and proven performance. Our growth comes from reputation-based referral — delivering reliably for clients who then vouch for us.
Southern California's construction economy is estimated at up to $85 billion annually, with commercial and nonresidential work representing a significant multibillion-dollar segment — commercial mechanical, HVAC, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, and infrastructure-adjacent projects.
This environment demands coordination among owners, general contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades, field employees, inspectors, and vendors — creating ongoing demand for exactly the project coordination, field supervision, logistics, and administrative support we provide.
As a client's construction volume grows, we add Project Managers, Field Superintendents, logistics personnel, and administrative support. That means we grow with our clients — rather than being replaced by internal hires.
